“They might fire me!” – Pep Guardiola reveals unexpected Man City admission prior to crucial derby against United.

Pep Guardiola has acknowledged that he might face dismissal from the Manchester City management if their poor performance persists.

City has secured only one victory in their last 10 matches, a remarkably poor stretch for a team that has claimed four consecutive Premier League titles with impressive flair. Guardiola is fully aware of his standing at the club, admitting that he could face dismissal if the situation deteriorates further.

THE GRAND SCHEME

A recent 3-0 win over Nottingham Forest in the Premier League is the sole victory Pep’s team has achieved in all competitions since late October. They faced a tough challenge against Juventus in the Champions League on Wednesday night (losing 2-0) and confidence in the locker room has reached an all-time low during the Guardiola era before a significant rivalry match against Manchester United on Sunday.

WHAT GUARDIOLA STATED

Hayters reported that Guardiola stated: “I would feel remorse about leaving now.” I was unable to sleep, even more so than I do now. “Departing from the circumstance, unfeasible.” Addressing journalists prior to the Manchester derby, he added: “They might dismiss me.” That may occur. However, departing right now? No choice. If the board is dissatisfied with me, they can proceed with it. However, departing now in this situation is impossible. When I sense it’s time to go, I will go. What we have accomplished is what we have achieved. The pleasure in completing it has been achieved. I have no goal to change my life or my time here entirely. “Not achievable.”

WHAT COMES NEXT FOR GUARDIOLA?

It’s hard to envision Guardiola being fired from his position at City. However, he must quickly tackle this downturn if he wishes to halt it, and a victory over fierce opponents Manchester United at the Etihad will earn him ample extra credit. The 4.30pm start will mark Ruben Amorim’s first encounter with one of the most intense rivalries in modern English football.
