Breaking: Rachel Lindsay to Pay Ex Bryan Abasolo $500K in Divorce Settlement

Former Bachelorette stars Rachel Lindsay and Bryan Abasolo have finalized their divorce a year after initiating the process to dissolve their marriage, as per documents acquired by E! Updates.

Rachel Lindsay and Bryan Abasolo have come to an agreement following a tumultuous year of divorce negotiations.

The former stars of The Bachelorette, who connected and fell in love during season 13 of the reality show before getting married in 2019, reached an agreement to dissolve their marriage and split their assets, as stated in court documents acquired by E! Updates.

According to the documents, in the settlement, Lindsay—who had been mandated to pay her former partner $13,000 monthly in spousal support—will now provide Abasolo a one-time payment of $500,000. The decision further specifies that the 44-year-old, who initiated divorce proceedings in January 2024, will retain the shared Miami residence, along with a 2021 Honda Accord sedan, his Breitling watch, various bank accounts, and wellness-focused LLCs.

Concerning Lindsay, 39, the lawyer will retain the couple’s North Hollywood home along with her 2023 Porsche Macan SUV, and various bank accounts and enterprises. Regarding her engagement ring and wedding band, the 39-year-old will retain the jewelry, according to the documents.

The previous couple will divide certain assets, which include Lindsay’s shares from the Fan Controlled Football League. Furthermore, according to the documents, any earnings from their investment in Molly’s Grape & Produce Company will be distributed over the following five years.

E! News has contacted representatives for Lindsay and Abasolo for a statement but has yet to receive a response.

After filing for divorce, Lindsay—who made history as the first Black lead in the Bachelor franchise—voiced her disappointment in not having established a prenup prior to her marriage to Abasolo.

“It was simply a different era, so I wasn’t focusing on that,” she stated during the Hidden Gems podcast in June. “We didn’t see eye to eye on prenups, so I preferred to avoid making it a larger problem, and that’s why we didn’t have one.”

However, that doesn’t imply the reality star didn’t desire one from the start.

“You see, in retrospect, everything is clear,” she continued. “I would have completed it.” I’ve always wanted to do it, but once more, we didn’t see eye to eye on that issue.
